Sprig
Noticing what the world whispers.
From the Reedbeds
Sprig began keeping watch among the reeds, where the meadow meets the water. From one morning to the next, the scene seemed almost the same. Almost was the part that caught Sprig’s attention.
A new shoot, a leaning stem, sunlight in a different place: small observations slowly filled a field notebook. Sprig’s tall frame and leaf-tipped antennae became a familiar sight above the green, quietly looking a little closer.
